Hello Everyone,
Now that you have completed half of the class please complete the following short survey. The idea here is to improve the class offering and give me feedback. Please be thorough and thoughtful. You have as much time as you like. There are four questions on one page. There are no wrong answers, but you should do your best not to leave any questions blank, please. When you complete the survey you will receive the credit. I feel it is slightly unfair to ask you to fill out the survey prior to completing the critique and peer review and therefore the due date is not until the end of the semester. In other words, feel free to revisit this survey after having completed the critique assignment. Let me know if you do return to it - I download this in order to attempt to implement suggestions.
1)What would you recommend keeping? Why? What aspects of the class helped you learn, successfully complete the work, and/or what did you enjoy?
1) The recorded lectures on YouTube or within the module are excellent. I'm auditory and enjoy your explanations and examples. They are great lectures - to the point and available in different formats.
I've loved having the presentations then office hours to discuss the text or presentation questions this is when I've learned the most. I can tell that you have experience in the industry and can answer anything.
2)What would you recommend deleting? Why? What do you feel did not work for you?
2)I would recommend deleting the textbook and perhaps using Giannetti. I did prefer the chapter we received from the other text with more examples.
3)What do you recommend modifying or changing in some manner? Why? How would the modification improve the class, or your learning?
3)The tests are very difficult.
4)Is there anything you would like to add to the class? And/or do you have any other comments?
