This week we focus on film form and how it influences the content of a film.
You will learn vocabulary and concepts, screen a film and contribute to a discussion of that film with your peers. Then complete a short quiz.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this week, you will be able to:
Identify and utilize cinematic language.
Discussion both form and content.
Define and describe the shot and perceived camera proxemics.
Discuss how film creates the illusion of motion.
Understand how movies manipulate time and space.
Describe the differences between realism/anti-realism and the importance of verisimilitude.
