14.1 Week 14 Overview: Chapter 10 - History
This week we perform an overview of film history, the basic movement and trends - those which developed due to technological developments, those which emerged due to social, aesthetic or economic concerns. You will read a very dense chapter, learn basic concepts, and screen a film - an example of one small facet of internationally film history.

Distinguish multiple manners utilized to examine film history.
Discuss vocabulary and terminology.
Describe various historically important film movements.
