Student will begin to identify and utilize the vocabulary of mise-en-scène such as shot type, composition and dominant contrast.
Analyze how the staging and photography of the action affect (i.e. location in the frame) the aesthetics of a film.
Describe how the various elements of mise-en-scène inform film genres and styles.
Evaluate how contents of a frame/shot/scene effect the spectator and film.
